Our Fundraisers and some Projects we have supported

We were delighted to donate £1200 to the Sarcoma Trust through Phil Protheroe who ran the Porthcawl parkrun whilst undergoing treatment for this cancer.
With the fabulous fundraising by Olivia Stacey we were able to purchase new virtual headsets for the children’s ward in the Children’s Hospital of Wales. These help to distract the children from the hospital surroundings which can be frightening for young children.
On the 30th April 2020 we were able to donate £5,000 to the Noah’s Ark Charity to buy Laptops for the children to use to keep in touch with their family when confined due to the pandemic
Olivia Ran the London Marathon for us in 2021 and then completed a 10 marathons in 10 days challenge followed by a number of fundraising events raising over £13656.00 for our charity
John Hammond Ran for us in the London Marathon in 2020 and then ran the 268 miles Winter Spine one of the toughest races ever.
We were able to buy this Giraffe Baby Resuscitation Unit for the Children’s Hospital of Wales thanks to generous donations to our charity.
Thanks to generous donations we were able to sponsor two rooms at the Children’s Hospital of Wales and these have been acknowledged by plaques outside the rooms. One room allows parents of young children to stay in the ward with their child and the other offers a place for parents to relax and/or prepare refreshments during their visit.
We were delighted to be able to contribute £5,000 to the construction of the new playground at Ty-Hafan Hospice,Sully.
