This is Peter Bowden Rooke who is running the London Marathon in 2026 and fundraising for our charity.
Peter ran the Brighton marathon in support of Cancer Research Uk after his wife's battle with breast cancer
This is Darija who will be running the London Marathon for us in 2026 and fundraising for our charity. Darija suffered an injury which set back her distance running but welcomed the challenge of running the 26.2 miles in aid of our charity.
Our charity The Chloe Bigmore Trust was set up in January 2009 after losing our 14 year old daughter Chloe to a very rare cancer. Chloe was diagnosed in January 2007 and passed away in December of the same year. After receiving so much support from neighbours with fundraising we set up this charity in her name with the intention of supporting others who are going through every parent's nightmare of having a seriously ill child. To date the charity has raised over £100,000 which has been donated to a number of worthy causes some of which we list here.

These are plaques outside 2 rooms in the Children's hospital of Wales that we helped furnish.
One allows children and parents to stay together during treatments and the other allows parents
access to refreshment facilities.
Below are more projects that we have been able to fund or part fund over the years, our thanks to Olivia Stacey who paid for the virtual headsets plus maintenance and to Santander Bank for their donation toward the playground, we have also been able to donate to the Robs Arttt charity who are funding research into childhood cancers and the Sarcoma Trust who specialize in this type of cancer.
